Another great book by C.A. Harms!!!

In Finding Gavin we follow Maria and Gavin's story. We met them in Forgiving Reed: Maria is Kori's best friend and Gavin works at Kori's parents farm.

Growing up, Maria always thought that she didn't deserve to be loved because her father left her and her mother when she was a child. She meets Gavin and she feels attracted to him. Although he says that they being together is only an one-night stand, she decides to take a chance and do it. She will take anything that he can give her. But Maria develops feelings for Gavin and he keeps pushing her away.
Gavin doesn't want to find love again, because the first time he experienced it, it ended bad. He thought that he could do an one-night stand with Maria, but he realizes that he has feelings for her. However, he keeps pushing her away because he is afraid of being hurt againg. When Maria decides to move on from Gavin, something happens that will make him show her that she deserves to be loved and that they belong together. Will Gavin be able to do it?

C.A. Harms did a wonderful job with this book! Like the previous book in the series, Finding Gavin takes the reader in a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The story hooks the reader from the beginning, making it impossible to stop reading it.

Maria is a strong woman, although she has some abandonment issues. She is the best friend you could ask for, she does everything she can for the ones she loves. Loved how she dealt with her father's situation.
At first I didn't like Gavin, but once I read what made him push Maria away I understood him. He is afraid of being hurt again and doesn't deal with his feelings for Maria the best way. But when he realizes that Maria is the one for him, I began to cheer for him.

I'm in love with C.A. Harms' Southern Boys and I can't wait to read Colt's story!
